We've gotten behind in blogville. But, we have an excuse.
Too much California sunshine.
You see, today is a rainy day, so my mind is more settled for indoors and computer screens.
I took these pictures not long ago on an afternoon romp with Kona. You can tell by the puffy clouds and clear sky that rain moved through the area the day before, but you'd never know looking at the parched, sandy trail.
Our "storms" this season are few and far between. The Sierra snow pack, an important water source, is unbelievably low for this time of year.
I've missed the days of snow-dusted foothills and views to the ocean, gifts that come only during Winter. We'll keep hoping for more clear, post rain, romps days!

Hasnt the weather been freaky like no winter and no storms, at least for us out here in the desert. Some beautiful days but what happened to the stormy winter. Glad you got out to enjoy the sun with Kona.
That's a tough problem to have! Too much sunshine... :)
You've got SUN? Can you send some east? We had part of one day that was sunny but now we're back to our gray cold windy days typical of February. Of course we've lucked out most of the winter with little to no snow so can't really complain about a little cold and dark skies and wind and did I say cold?
A little sunshine does us good, a lot of sunshine does even better.
Kona looks absolutely happy on her sandy trail. Get outside while the sun shines. It's been snowing 3 days in Breckenridge - we really needed it.
